In 2012, Joe Sr. passed the IRS Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) competency test. Joe has maintained his IRS RTRP status by completing a minimum of 15 hours of continuing education annually from an IRS approved course provider. Joe also participates in the IRS Annual Filing Season Program.
Personal Bio
After high school, Joe Sr. joined the United States Army and served as a medic (91A10) from 1969 until he was honorably discharged in 1975.
Joe Sr. earned a Bachelor's degree from Rockhurst College, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and received the Wall Street Journal Award for Outstanding Business Graduate.
Joe Sr. served on the Lee's Summit City Council for 17 years and is also a former treasurer and director of Habitat for Humanity.

After graduating from the University of Missouri-Kansas City law school with a Juris Doctorate degree, Joe Jr passed the Missouri Bar exam. Joe Jr. is a licensed attorney in both Missouri and Kansas.
Joe Jr. is employed by the Commerce Trust Company as a Private Client Advisor.
